I've been thrifting since before it was a trend. There's something special about finding an item that's already had a life before you—the piece that catches your eye, sparks an idea, and stays in your mind long after you've left. Some of my favorite finds are handmade or built with a level of quality that's hard to come by today. They still have plenty of life left in them—it just takes someone willing to see it.
